SUMA is the voice of Saskatchewan’s cities, towns and villages. Through strength in unity, SUMA advocates, negotiated and initiates improvements in local, provincial and federal legislation, program and service to enhance urban life in Saskatchewan.


SARM is the independent organization that represents all rural municipalities in Saskatchewan, and is the principal advocate in representing them before senior governments. SARM proudly takes on its roles as the voice of rural Saskatchewan. Incorporated in 1905, SARM celebrated its Centennial anniversary along with the province in 2005.
